Video - Metal Gear Awesome

Hello there ! Long time no see. This is probably my last post on this blog since april due to exams and my departure to england for my work placement. So here's the videos (because there are 2 Metal Gear Awesome) which are parody of the video game Metal Gear Solid, first released on the Playstation and reedited on the Nintendo Game Cube as Metal Gear Solid : The Twin Snake. So you will follow the adventure of Solid Snake trough the Shadow Moses nuclear base. As a parody you will fully understand it only if you have played the game, but still if you haven't played it, it's still funny :).

There's no link for it on Youtube due to a problem with his author so here's the like where you'll be able to see those videos : Metal Gear Awesome 1, Metal Gear Awesome 2.

And, by the way, this is only flash animated videos so don't expect a quality like ESMA or Mouty oum videos.

Website - Nanarland

Here comes one of my favorite website, the magnificent Nanarland.

You may know what we call a nanar in french, a very bad movie but which still make you laught because of how bad it is.

On this website you will found the greatest nanar on earth, the most famous speech extract of thoses movies and the best nanar actors in the world (Chuck Norris for ever !).

Common Knowledge - Still Alive

Do you know the video game named portal ? It's a Puzzle FPS game in which you must pass different tricky room with a gun which shoot portal which help the player to teleport himself or objects all around the place.

If I want to talk to you about portal it's because the music of the ending : Still Alive. It's a very nice song and some people on the Internet made some interesting video clip for it. Here's the song from the credits of Portal : original one. Then here's an home made by Scott Ransoomair from VGcats which give à face to the robot : VGcats one. And the last but, by far, not the least Still Alive theme song made up with Mario Paint, it's nearly incredible when you know the quality of the sounds on Mario Paint : Mario Paint one.

For those who absolutly don't know what is Portal, here's a flash version of the game, not as good as the real one but it's free so don't hesitate to give it a try :). Flash Portal.

Here's a really funny website, bashfr, where you will find some of the greatest quote of mIRC. It's often funny and sometimes nearly incredible :).

Tool - PicLens

Here's a very usefull tool for those who search pictures on the web it's called Piclens and it's compatible with IE6 and FireFox. Piclens appears on the top right of your navigator and when you click on it, it opens a new frame in which you can search for pictures and then show them to you on a 3D interface.

Video - TED : 10 possible apocalypses

Hey all, it's been a while since the last post.

Today I want to talk to you about this presentation of Stephen Petranek about 10 possible apocalypses which could terminate our lifes prematurely. The possibilities goes to the aliens invades Earth to the meeting with a rogue black hole and for all the apocalypses he gives us multiple solutions to prevent them.

I remember you that TED are conferences making by people of incredible knowledge and their goal is the spreading of this knowledge to everybody. I will show you more TED later but if I start with this one it's only because tomorrow (february the 14th) I will make an oral presentation based on this one.

Here's an old video of Monty Oum, the man who created Haloid and Dead Fantasy I. This video is in 2D but still he make a wonderfull work and I think you will really enjoy it, especially if you like Sonic, Halo and Naruto.

Don't you find this amazing ? I just can't imagine how immersive a video game or a movie can be with this. I hope that is author, Johnny Chung Lee, will continue to devellop his program and that someday's a big develloper will help him to make his dream real.

Webcomic - Least I could do

Hey there it's been a while since the last post. Must be due to chrismas hollyday I think. But I'm back for this new year and here's a new thing you can go see, the webcomic : least I could do.

This comic is another creation of Ryan Sohmer and Lar Desouza the autor of the other webcomic looking for group which I talked few month ago.

This comic is totally different from LFG, because the story takes place in a nearly real world, and it's all about the true mystery of the life ... Women.

Every days of the week you can follow the adventures of Rayne, Noel, Issa, Mick and John a nice group of friends as you will see :).
